Celebration of International Women's Day with the Oxfam Action Corps
Oxfam Update:
Thank you for all of your efforts leading up to last night's International Women's Day. Our goal had been to have 100-150 participants and the final count was about 135! We were so impressed with everyone's pitching in, particularly in helping publicize the event (your work paid off) and attending our planning meetings. Your encouragement and enthusiasm meant a lot to us.
Here are some of the statistics from the March 8, 2012 event:

Over 80 hand written letters to senator's collected
1 media outlet covering by NY 12 Brooklyn (we're hoping to get video from them to share shortly)
